Adding a Third Party Plan

To add a Third Party or insurance:

  1. From the Patient Folder > Third Party tab, select Add.

    The Third Party Plan Search appears.

  2. Enter a Bill Code or a Third Party Name in the corresponding fields.

  3. Select Search.

  4. Highlight the appropriate Third Party.

  5. Select OK. The Third Party Plan Search window closes and the Third Party is added to the Third Party tab.

  6. Under the Third Party Detail section, enter the appropriate fields.

  7. Repeat steps 1 - 6 until all the patient's Third Party information has been added.

  8. Select Save.

Once all Third Parties are added, you can change the rank order that prescriptions are processed to by manually updating the Rank value. You cannot change the Rank of CA (Cash).

Part-Time Employee or Medical Practitioner Discounts

Discounts can be applied for part-time employees or medical practitioners by adding a Third Party bill code to their Patient Folder. Use the dropdowns below for more information.
